THEMATA is a curated exhibition and sale of handmade goods and independent art. You’ll discover a wide variety of beautifully crafted, one-of-a-kind items by local and regional artisans. Admission is FREE!

Where is it held?
At 155 Culver Rd (Culver Road Armory) in the CULTURE LAB art show space, located adjacent to Fleet Feet.

What kinds of items will I find?
Expect to see handmade clothing, accessories, punk-rock babywear, handcrafted jewelry, original artwork, wooden and plush toys, ceramics, DIY kits, home goods, furniture, locally made food and beverages, and more. All vendors go through a competitive jury process, ensuring a truly top-tier selection — think of it as a curated, real-life Etsy marketplace.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?
THEMATA events are held indoors and outdoors depending on the season. Please check the specific event listing for details.

What if it rains?
For indoor events, we’re on — rain or shine — unless local authorities require closure.
For outdoor events, we monitor the forecast closely and communicate any weather-related changes in advance.

Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely! THEMATA is a family-friendly event.

Are dogs allowed?

• Outdoor events: Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome.

• Indoor events: We kindly ask that pets stay at home (service animals always welcome).

Will there be food available?
Yes! Village Bakery at the Armory offers delicious food and beverages. Some events may also include food vendors — check our event pages for updates.

Is there parking?
Yes — free parking is available for 400+ cars at the Culver Road Armory.
